About This Lesson
This assignment has students make tombstones (just the information, not actual tombstones) for 34 historical figures from Ancient and Middle Ages History. The information is the DOB and DOD, location, and a one-sentence epitaph. When they are done, the students must write a persuasive essay explaining which 3 people had the biggest economic impact on the world, which 3 people had the biggest social impact on the world, and which 3 people had the biggest political impact on the world and explain why. They revise it with their teacher and that is the whole assignment.
