About This Lesson
This unit plan is part of the first trimester of instruction for an 9th Grade French I class. In this preliminary unit, students will get their first exposure to learning a second language: French. New vocabulary, oral practice, and presenting will be front and center for the focus of the unit – with an embedded assessment that challenges students to use their prior knowledge.
