About This Lesson
This activity can serve as a way to introduce students to the causes of poverty and its affects on a community. I chose Haiti to help bring awareness to global issues. There are videos attached that I created guided questions for students to use as they watch the videos. Discussion questions are included at the end of the worksheet to encourage the students to critically think about possible solutions that could help combat poverty in Haiti.
