This practical lesson will help pupils to think about harvest in the US, UK and African countries through making a tasty soup and looking at the ingredients in a sorting activity. Through talking around the themes of this lesson it is possible to highlight the work of charities in helping African families to have better harvests each year. The harvests that we often take for granted at home, can literally be life-changing for many African families who grow most of the food that they eat.
