About This Lesson

This lesson is fun; and gives the students a chance for discussion. You will need:2 plastic ups or beakers per personWaterAcid of some sortUniversal indicator. 1. Quarter fill half the cups with water (to 2 cups add some acid)2. Give an empty cup and cup with the unknown clear liquid to each student. 3. Get them to pour some liquid into their empty cup and call this their original sample. 4. Now get them to use the students in the class to answer the questions on the sheet as it says on the PowerPoint.
