About This Lesson
This is a short unit of perhaps 2 weeks where my students write a "This I Believe" Personal Narrative as we get to know each other. The primary focus areas of the assignment are: using figurative language, details, and complete sentences to convey to the reader just who you are as a person. I interchangeably call it the "Credo" Assignment because it is a statement of their beliefs.
