About This Lesson
My students love to make class books, and those are often the first books chosen during independent reading time. This book is a takeoff on Pete the Cat. He loved his shoes. The students need to think of something they love. They write their first names on the first line. I write what they love on the second line. The students copy the word on the third line. (i.e. Javier said, "I love my baby brother, I love my baby brother.") Student then illustrate their page.
