could be useful but a sheet with definitions of key terms like appositive would make it more useful.Specially for those teachers who have not studied grammar in this way.
Although I haven't looked at all of this corpus, I do think these would be useful for an approach that is traditional-based. However, I would add initial or at least intermediate steps involving sentence combining to give practice with T/app-nom, Tapp-adj, T/abs, and T/part to improve the scaffolding. Identifying these elements and then searching one's writing for examples may be too abstract without the combining steps. Further, combining exercises could use broken-down result sentences from what the learners are reading.
