About This Lesson
This article takes students through four impacts of the Iranian Revolution - Iran becoming a theocracy, The Iranian Hostage Crisis, The Iran-Iraq War, and Iran pursuing nuclear technology. Students are prompted to look at a New York Times timeline of Iran's nuclear projects. At the end, there is a chart about comparing the common themes between the French, Russian, and Iranian Revolutions. Students have to fill in the blanks in the chart.
