Andrew Jackson & Indian Removal Act is a good intro to HyperDocs for the teacher and great for supporting the use of primary source documents. This will hyperdocs will require teacher to edit out teacher directions and add more resources before giving it to parents or a student. I hope this will be helpful. I think it is essential that we address the centuries worth of historical issues that are still coloring our current discrimination of Native American Peoples. I urge you as an educator that you also look at the ways that this event created the horrendous treatment of all Native populations across time and space up and including today. Please build in that piece. I would love if you would share any of the ways that you help to encourage your students to grow in better awareness of the issues that Native populations continue to struggle with today.
