About This Lesson

This is a fun center game. Copy, laminate, and cut out eight copies of the Insect Go Fish sheet. For a group of four students, pass out 3 cards and place the remaining cards in a pile in the center of the table. Have students check for any insect pairs. Students ask each other for an insect that they need to make a pair. If the other student has the insect, he/she must pass it over. If the child doesn't have the insect, he/she says, "Go Fish." The child making the request takes a card from the pile in the center. The child with the most pairs win. ECE appropriate ECE-SC-na, ECE-SC
