About This Lesson

A selection of Mental/Oral starters that can be adapted for any age group. Countdown activity contains a range of different topics such as multiplication and doubling that come complete with a timer. The other resources are on PowerPoint but are intended as handouts for a Mad Minute activity. Children are given two minutes to answer and have to beat their previous score.

Well presented IWB Notebook activity where the countdown clock can be set as required. Lots of practice questions on the worksheets, a real time saver.
