About This Lesson

Instructional Conversations can help English language learners (EL) develop reading comprehension along with English language proficiency. Instructional Conversations are small group discussions about stories, concepts, & personal experiences led by a teacher. Literature Logs require EL to write in response to writing prompts/questions related to sections of stories and then share with small groups/partner.
