About This Lesson
Students’ knowledge of operations on numbers will be expanded to include operations on numbers in integer exponents including positive, negative and 0 exponents. Students’ understanding of integer exponents is also expanded to include the concept of magnitude as a measurement. Students learn to estimate how big or how small a number is using magnitude.
