About This Lesson
This game uses a standard deck of cards. I assign red cards as negatives & black cards as positive. Each student turns over a card and then they compare them. The student who has the greatest value gets both cards. Play continues until one student has all the cards. You can extend this game by having students add, subtract, multiply or divide (they would have to turn over two cards) and then compare their answers.
