About This Lesson
Extended card sort of animals that undergo external and internal fertilization - looks at a frog; penguin; cod and gorilla and compares their animal type; fertilization type; the number of young; where the young develop; the young's time for development; the length of time the young spend with the parent and the survival rate of the young. Students can work alone or in pairs to match the key words to the correct animal. For higher ability groups remove some of the answers and get them to fill it in.
