Introduction to solving equations

A very nice, well made powerpoint on the topic of solving linear equations. It approaches the topic in three ways, visually in terms of match sticks, algebraically and the extension questions have missing bits of information which the pupils have to work out. I would use this in a solving equations lesson as it is differentiated so all pupils should be able to access the work, and the more able can attempt the extension questions.

Really like this idea and will be trying it out after the break. Thanks for sharing, it's saved me a lot of work.
