About This Lesson
To support educators’ use of the documentary film Inventing Tomorrow in the classroom and to inspire students with the awe and wonder of discovery, the free Teaching Inventing Tomorrow Curriculum includes a unique set of four NGSS aligned lessons to accompany existing courses in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) in classrooms around the world. The four lessons follow this sequence:
- Soil: Understanding the Soil as a Filter
- Air: Innovations to Clean Our Air
- Oceans: Mitigating Industrial Pollution in our Oceans
- Water: Citizen Scientist Efforts to Maintain Freshwater Bodies
