      About This Lesson

      In this activity, students will learn that the Earth is tilted on a consistent axis and know the reason why the length of days differs throughout the year. This lesson plan is adapted from one originally developed by Cherilynn Morrow and Michael Zawaski, available from the Space Science Institute.
