About This Lesson
Students will investigate the parts of a student-made lava lamp exhibit when various conditions (e.g., temperature, size of bottle, cap on or cap off, size of tablet pieces) are changed and record the results. Students will then compare how the findings can apply to a real-world scenario (e.g. responding to an oil spill in different climates or parts of the world).
