About This Lesson

This curriculum, arranged into six units, is centered on Roger’s storytelling throughout his career including his three books – ENOUGH: Why the World’s Poorest Starve in an Age of Plenty; The Last Hunger Season; and The First 1,000 Days – which he calls the REAL Hunger Games trilogy. There is also new material from Roger’s ongoing reporting as he continues to follow some of the people and places featured in the books and the ever-evolving challenges of ending hunger and malnutrition. Some of the material here is adapted from Auburn’s Hunger Studies class for undergraduate students.
