Used as a 'think; pair; share' activity.Get everyone to watch the PowerPoint then list as many countries in 1 minute as they can individually; then discuss their list with a partner for 1 minute; then discuss in groups of 4 their lists to see if they can compile an entire list.
I am just starting to plan a unit on Francophonie and this is excellent starting point. Like the way it is timed and that the review allows children to collaborate on their learning.
