About This Lesson
This is an assignment I tried with a few classes last year. Once a week, we pick one student at random and every student in the class writes a letter to him/her. It can have complements, questions, memories, and really anything at all as long as it's not mean. I collect the letters, read them all, then give them to the student. It can really make someone's day! It only works if your class doesn't have much student "drama."

Neat idea! This could be used to address school/district-wide 'student character' goals as well as career readiness skills (getting along with co-workers).
