About This Lesson
A page-long reading passage with pictures and questions relating to the American Colonization Society's efforts to establish Liberia as a colony for formerly enslaved persons. I am using this as part of my U. S. History unit on the early 1800s and relating it to our study of slavery and abolitionism.
