Activities centred around examining the effect of fairtrade bananas on the Windward Isles. Five other linked resources also available.

The Windward Islands include Barbados, Grenada, the Grenadines, Martinique, St. Lucia, St. Vincent, Tobago and Trinidad. They are referred to as the Windward Islands due to their location on the path of Northeastern trade winds.

Resources provide information about bananas and fair trade but it very UK specific. Could be a resource for US teachers on banana fairming
