About This Lesson
Attached is the mechanical blue-print to manufacture a Spring Loaded Tap Guide. A good simple engine lathe project we use for one of the first projects for machining students. We use this as a few day project, for our typical student. Depending on the springs we can purchase, sometimes we drill the tap-drill oversize so the springs have room to telescope.
Great project for beginners.
