About This Lesson
This is a good math center activity. Copy and laminate the number cards from 1-31. Put the number cards in a container. Students pull a number from the container and write the number drawn next to the picture of Martin Luther King, Jr. on the recording sheet. Students then write the next four numbers that come next. Take turns drawing numbers and writing the four numbers. Each child writes only the numbers he/she draws from the container.
