Treasure hunt - students have a handout full of algebra questions they have to answer and to find the answers around the classroom/corridor/school and write the corresponding symbol.

Brilliant!!! Kids who are normally off task really enjoyed this! Loved the way the questions got harder and harder but they managed it! Thank you for sharing your hard work.

The answer is "Simplifying algebra is easy." It's a fun drill activity, but I prefer more actual problem solving.

Nice activity, but I think it is more challenging if the mathematical sentences are harder.

fun might be a little time consuming once having figured the answer then decode the answer and put it together but still very fun for the kids

I am using this resource again this year. Has been a success inthe past and I am now adapting it for use on the Promethean board for team discussions. Originals are laminated as suggested so have been used by others in the dept. Thanks for this resource
