About This Lesson

A brief look at a range of media texts with the theme of celebrity weddings. Students examine how a range of digital and print media is used to cover an event like a celebrity wedding. This is a lesson that helps students look more deeply into digital media and non-fiction texts, I use it as a gateway into looking at a more serious media issue later in the week. Aligned with Common Core State Standards: RI.7.10 , W.7.2

Good way to connect topic some students are interested in to a writing assignment.
