About This Lesson
With this plan teachers will be able to support children in recognizing the cue to start a new paragraph and use the first sentence effectively to orientate the reader, identify the main point in a paragraph, and how the supporting information relates to it. They will also recognize how sentences are organized in a paragraph in which the content is not chronological and appraise the value and relevance of information found and acknowledge sources. They will also identify how media texts are tailored to suit their audience, and recognize that audience responses vary.
My children had an exellent lesson and even asked when we would next have a fun lesson.
