About This Lesson

This Sample Activity "Self Soothing" is for individuals ages 12 and up to connect the key concept of self-soothing/self-regulation to positive life Outcomes. Individuals will recognize the difference between taking the time to decide rather than immediately reacting to persons, places, and things. Four different self-soothing skills can be used inside and outside of the classroom.
