About This Lesson
This is the rubric I used when my ELLs in Sheltered Personal Finance participated in mock job interviews. I had 2 ladies from Job Service come in and spend about 5-10 minutes interviewing students one on one for a job the students had selected from our local Department of Labor job listings. The students were given this rubric before the interview and we practiced each skill. My students really enjoyed the experience, and learned alot about how to get the job they want.

The Mock Interview Activity is relevant and prepares students for real world experiences while promoting oral development, interpersonal skills and professionalism. Students participate in Mock interviews to acquire career readiness techniques.
