About This Lesson

The first sheet explains how are ideas about atomic structure have changed over time. The second invites students to build a model atom. They can be imaginative as they like but must explain to the rest of the class how their model represents an atom. A fun end of term activity.

A great resource for background information on how the ideas of what an atom is made up from have developed over time. I especially like the idea of the pupils building their own version of the atom.
