About This Lesson

http://www.freemathvideos.com In this video series I show you how to solve a system of equations using substitution. To solve a system of equations using elimination we first choose the variable that has a coefficient as one. Sometimes this variable will already be isolated. We then substitute the expression that the variable equals into the other equation for that variable giving us an equation with one variable. We then simplify and solve for the variable. When we have the value of one variable we then plug that value back into one of the original equations to solve for the other variable. I show how to math problems so that my students and people all over can follow what I am doing in class. The problems are done in real time and in front of a regular classroom. I post all of my videos on youtube but if you are looking for other ways to interact with me and my videos you can follow/like and visit the following pages: Tumbler: www.mrbrianmclogan.tumblr.com,Blogger: www.mrbrianmclogan.blogspot.com, Twitter: @mrbrianmcloganFacebook: mrbrianmcloganYoutube: www.youtube.com/mrbrianmclogan
