About This Lesson

http://www.freemathvideos.com In this video series I will show you how to solve a word problem by setting up a system of equations. When working with word problems it is very important to read the whole problem through and then determine what is the problem asking. We then look to define our variables for the problem. When we have two variables we know that we will need two equations to solve our problem. We then reread our problem to try to model two equations using our chosen variables from the text. We next then solve the system by using any of the methods discussed in this chapter.
