About This Lesson

http://www.freemathvideos.com In this video tutorial I will show you how to solve a system with three variables. When solving a system with three variables it is important to decide what variable you would like to solve for first. It is usually helpful to choose a variable that has a 1 as it's coefficient. We then take the equation with the variable with a coefficient of one and us elimination with the other two equations to eliminate that variable. Now we have a system of two equations with two variables. We solve using the methods we have discussed and then plug in the values of those variables back into one of the original equations to find the value of the first variable that we eliminated.
