About This Lesson
http://www.freemathvideos.com In this video tutorial I will show you how to factor out the GCF of an expression. We do this by first defining the GCF of the expression as the term with common elements with every term in the expression. We then divide every term by the GCF and rewrite the expression as a product of the GCF by the divident. We can then check our answer by applying the distributive property.
