To do this we first need to factor the equation by using any of the methods we have previously discussed. We then set our factored form of our quadratic to zero. We then apply the zero product property to set up two situation where our equations will equal zero. Using or we then solve each equation for x by using inverse operations. This math problem was filmed during online live instruction for class. This is my way of providing a free tutorial for students that want to learn math from an online tutor.
