About This Lesson

Students will explore the mysterious atmosphere and foggy shapes found in Monet’s painting Waterloo Bridge. They will sing “London Bridge is Falling Down” as a class and use shape stamps to create a painting of a bridge. Appropriate for Early Childhood Education (Pre-K and younger). ECE teachers may want to include pictures of bridges on the walls and may also find that more time is needed for this activity. ECE-AR, ECE-AR-dr, ECE-OR, ECE-OR-sp, ECE-OR-re, ECE-OR-ex, ECE-AR-so

Great visual arts and music lesson for children in grades 1-2. Good intro of shapes for kindergarten students.
