About This Lesson

This is a fun Mother's Day math center. Make copies of the recording sheet for each child and one spinner on cardstock paper. Laminate for durability. Children take turns spinning and recording the mother and baby that was spun by coloring one box on the graph. (Human, bird, dog, bear, cat, horse) After playing for 15-20 minutes, children read their graphs and write the name of the mother that had the most boxes colored in on the top of their papers.

This is a great resource to use with a small group to practice counting and determining which box had the most. Thanks for sharing!
