Mother's Day Word Work

This is a great literacy center to do around Mother's Day. Make copies of the recording sheet for each child. Print and laminate copies of the letter tiles and pictures on multicolored cardstock for easy sorting in case of spills. Each child gets a recording sheet and set of letter tiles. The children use the letter tiles to spell the words, then write the words that tell about all the things their Mothers do for them. They check it off when they finish writing the word.
