About This Lesson

All lessons are classroom-ready for individual or classroom settings. 

In this mini-unit, students read, discuss two poems by Robert Browning. The students analyze the poems focusing on how authors relate textual elements, such as plot, character, and central ideas, within a text. The two poems are analyzed using close reading and TP-CASTT. The accumulating activity is a compare and contrast essay. 

Presented as PPTX with detailed instructions for students and teachers.
