About This Lesson
This Do Now activity has 4 questions about how and why to create unity among a group of people. The 1st is asking students what situation or problem would require school unity, the 2nd is the same questions, but about city unity, and the 3rd is about national unity. The last question is asking students that if they were the President, how would they create this unity? The idea is that after doing these questions, it should be easier for students to understand how people like Napoleon and Bolivar used nationalism to unify their people.
