About This Lesson
Put students into groups of 3/4. Distribute a set of cards between the students in each group so that each pupil gets about 4 cards. IMPORTANT - the students must not show eachother their cards! The aim is the construct the nitrogen cycle from scratch using the information on the cards; but the students must communicate with each other to make it work. Choose one student to be the scribe (if they all write they won't be able to talk!)If they really struggle you could provide them with the blank cycle or even fill in a few words for them on the blank to get them started.
