It appears that the pattern is not consistent. Rule starts off by adding one to the number before, then add two to the next two numbers, and it jumps to adding four to the following number. Finally, it adds two; so the consistency is not there.

Great tool for numeric patterning. May also be used as a model for students to collaboratively create an activity to demonstrate their knowledge of patterns.
