ESSENTIAL QUESTION:  HOW DO I EFFECTIVELY PREPARE FOR THE AMERICAN HISTORY REGENTS USING TEST-TAKING STRATEGIES?

Objectives:

DAY 1:  SWBAT to analyze and evaluate the components of the NYS American History Regents to by applying test-taking strategies to multiple choice questions

DAY 2:  SWBAT apply test-taking strategies to practice multiple choice questions identifying the strategy utilized to answer the question

DAY 3:  SWBAT to analyze and evaluate components of writing necessary for the DBQ and THEMATIC Essay by reviewing the grading rubric

DAY 4:  SWBAT to apply the essay-writing rubric criteria by practice writing a Thematic Essay

DAY 5:  SWBAT to apply the essay-writing rubric criteria by practice writing a DBQ Essay
