About This Lesson
The "Up or Down the Number Line?" activities are simple, greater than/less than, practice games. Send the fish the correct direction along the number line to land on the number above his head. Use the timer to add a competitive element. This is a quick activity for reinforcing negative and positive number positions on a number line. This version shows units on the number line. The full set of Number Comparer activities on TESiboard includes versions with number lines that go up in units, tens and tenths. Games with units and multiples of 10 can be found with a Bee as the character.
