About This Lesson

This can be used when peer editing narrative writing (fiction, memoir, etc). Students write comments onto the piece of writing, but on this handout, they tally how many comments they wrote for each of these categories: Grammar, Spelling, Plot, Narrative form (linear or non), characterization, dialogue, conflict, and imagery. Then students  give general feedback for each category of comment.
