About This Lesson
This is a composition activity centerd around the pentatonic scale. Introducing drone; ostinati accompaniment; question and answer melodic phrasing; balanced phrases and rondo form. Each section should contrast experimenting with the elements of music. Worked well for me as a whole class activity and then in pairs.
