About This Lesson
This is a perfect math center for Mother's Day. Copy and laminate one gameboard for each child in the group and one spinner on cardstock paper. The children take turns spinning and taking the coin with that cent value spun from a container in the center of the table. They must say the name of the coin when they select it and place it on the gameboard in the appropriate box. I use real money for this activity. After 15-20 minutes of playing, we count the coins and see which gift has the most coins. That is the gift to give to Mother!
